Glenn, love fishing jigs! I have found at times that small little hops and sometimes just shaking the jig produces bites! Can't beat it. Thanks for the tips!

Thx again for another good video. Im new to jig fishing. Im going try to start fishing jigs, bought 2 finesse jigs and trailers, and this video information definitely will help me on how to work a jig, even if im a bank fisherman. I hope to try these retrievals out this weekend. I dont care if it says 100° weather here in central California, i want to go jig fishing!

Couldn't disagree more about just reeling it in once it's away from whatever cover you're fishing- I've caught so many fish either in what looks like open water or right up at the boat that I've learned not to waste any part of a cast. True, you catch less than when you're right up against cover but- any fish is welcome on my boat. Last week I was throwing a rattle trap in cover- shallow water- while sitting out in the middle of the lake in my kayak- and the only fish I caught was literally right under my boat. I was about to abandon the cast and reel it in and boom- 5.3 lb large mouth.

So the seaguar smackdown stealth gray braid is really that invisible in the water? I want to go away from using a fluorocarbon leader fishing light cover and brush piles
